The Katba'asu gold mine is located in the south, 30 KM away from Xinyuan county, Yili state, Xinjiang Province. This mine is in the Mountain ridge of Nati which is in the south of Tianshan Mountain, with a altitude from 2540 to 3650 metres.
This gold mine has a high grade, and also the mining condition is good. The average grade of this mine is 3.51 gram/ton, and the No.4 ore body has reached a average grade of 5.7 gram/ton, and the total deposite is around 26 tons.
