Center driving thickener
Thickenersapply to the dewatering of middling and tailing slurry in the ore-dressing practice. They are also used to concentrate and purify all slurry containing solid in industries such as coal, chemicals, building materials and water source, and sewage treatment.
This kind of equipment applies to the dewatering of middlings and tailings in the ore dressing plants. It raises the slurry concentration of 20-30% to around 40-70% for subsequent operation so as to improve dressing effects. Such thickenersare widely used in industries such as metallurgy, chemicals, coal, metal ore dressing, and environmental protection. They have characteristics such as reliable operaton and easy maintenance.
The slurry goes into the concentration basin through the steady flow drum. Solid particles sink into the bottom of the basin. Then they are scraped to the center or the basin bottom and charged from the sand pump or automatically through the discharge mouth. The clarified liquid overflows from the overflow weir at the upper part.
